Called speedy Tuesday installed Wednesday Matt smash it arrived on time and installed evo-270-1 quick and on Budjet as quoted -Matts work ethic was outstanding and explained everything clearly, as my pumping was old and not complete to code which Matt fixed and completed very tidy and clean pipe work and electrical work ,well done very happy cheers Dave

Nothing was too hard, with in 24hrs of us calling him he arrives on a Sunday and spends three hours removing our very old system and updating everything we needed done. I called these guys in a Sunday and they were out within a couple of hours. Matt was great and replaced the element and thermostat. Within an hour my hot water was hotter than it had ever been. The price was good too.

On Dec 28 2022 we noticed our hot water wasn't heating up, so I checked our HW cylinder and saw that it was 19 years old and dying. I did some quick research and saw that a heat pump cylinder is most efficient. I searched for a 24 hour replacement service because our cylinder wasn't going to last the night, and found Speedy Hot Water Services. I rang them and shared our details, after which John recommended the EVO270-1, which is just like the research results I had undertaken earlier. This gave me good confidence. John also assured me it could be installed and working today, so I gave him the order. Later that day Matt arrived and installed the unit in our tricky cylinder corner, and it started heating our water again immediately. I was told to get Energex to set my meter to a controlled load Tariff 2 (CT2), which was done a week or so later, and cost me a bit over $100....Update 18 months later:After 18 months of working well we suddenly only had lukewarm water. I checked the Evo heater and it was off, so I turned it on again. Next day and subsequent days it was off again and didn't turn on automatically at all, so I called the Evoheat service. After some elimination questions I was told this unit shouldn't be on a controlled tariff, so I checked the Evoheat website, which clearly stated that a controlled tariff was ok, and Matt had told me to get my CT1 changed to CT2. So I asked Evoheat to make that change but was told that while parts were under warranty, the work warranty had expired after 1 year, and I would need a contractor to do that, so I called John again. This was quite obviously a fault of the heater, for which I was not responsible and had just followed their instructions, but Evoheat would not negotiate. John's quoted price for the work shocked me at several hundred dollars, so I called my local electrician for a comparative quote, who dropped by on his way home and completed that job in just 10 minutes. I have had to remove a star from this review after this experience.

Evoheat pump 270lt installed by Matt & Mark who went above & beyond to remove our old rusty solar hot water system off the roof to install a stunning new heat pump to help save energy off our bills. Our old 80’s low set house threw them a few curve balls which they hit back with expertise & determination. They worked extra hard to run conduit inside our pitched roof cap to avoid an eyesore & future problems with our roof. True professionals! We appreciate your hard work installing a superior product. We disconnected the gas at our place and needed a relatively quick replacement with a heat pump HWS. John and Christopher were amazing. They turned up exactly when they said they would, wrestled a massive HWS into a very tight spot, hooked it all up and left the place spotless when they finished. I was super impressed. It's hard to find this level of customer service nowadays, especially from tradesmen. Well done and thanks!

EVO270L Heat Pump System - Excellent service Matt from Speedy Hot Water Services came and completed the change over from our very expensive to run LPG Instantaneous Rinnai 26E system with a EVO270L Heat Pump. The unit was installed in 3 hours with hot water up to full temp and fully available and working before he left. heated from cold with-in 2 1/2 hours to 60 deg. Water pressure flow was excellent best we have experienced since moved in 16 years ago. LPG was expensive and not economical at all. With the Heat Pump being run from our solar panels the cost to supply our property with hot water will be negligible. The EVO are manufactured and produced locally in Brisbane Queensland another benefit allowing us to support local industry. from time of quote to installation was 5 days extraordinary as other quote requests I'm still awaiting responses. Well done Speedy Hot Water, you have a happy customer here.

Great service. Quickest, cheapest and most professional hot water specialists in SEQ I've found. After getting a couple of quotes for a hot water system I then called Speedy and after speaking with Matt I booked in.He was straight up with what system would suit my needs best and never did I get the "salesman upsell" speech.He takes pride in his work which isn't always easy to come by, the install looks very neat and the EVO 150 is performing brilliantly.My wife and I are very happy with his work and would recommend him highly.

We recently had trouble with our hot water service and John came out on the first visit and it wasn’t our hot water at all it was a metre problem which he fixed until Energex is able to replace. But then my partner fiddled with the thermostat and broke it and this was Friday before Xmas and we didn’t have any hot water (luckily it’s been so hot) but Matt came out Xmas eve in the middle of a storm, all the way from down the coast to Clontarf and replaced the thermostat for us. I couldn’t get over someone coming out Xmas eve. But this was so appreciated by us and he was so helpful. Couldn’t ask for more and would highly recommend Speedy Hit Water Services for anyone who needs! Thank you Matt and John.

We contacted Speedy on Saturday arvo and spoke to a plumber, he said he would come out on Sunday . My husband spoke to I’m on Sunday over the phone just before he was to come out and told him our hot water was now working and we didn’t mind if he came out just to check it out. But the plumber was so honest , said no need to , just give him a call if it happened again. This is the service you expect. The plumber was upfront and honest. If we have any further problems we will definitely be contacting this company. Thank you for for great service.

Matt and Jacob (AKA Zookeeper) did an awesome job replacing the old instantaneous gas system with a new Evoheat. Matt rerouted the gas so we could continue to use the stove and installed a new safety switch in the fuse box. We can now enjoy REAL hot water to the shower on the other side of the house. Everything from the quote from John to the install by Matt and Jacob was hassle-free. Thoroughly recommend Speedy.

He did a wonderful job sorting out the old piping and electrical connection and we had hot water within a couple of hours. A really professional job and extremely pleasant as well. First class advice and workmanship spoke to a few providers of different systems, was about to go with another brand until I read the promuctreviews on the after service. that us when I found Eviheat 270-1 hotwater system, Speedy Hot water Services called me then called around home to inspect my old system, 2 days later I called and on the Friday we had a new Hotter cylinder Evoheat 270-1 installed, switchboard changed, Look how tidy these guys work. Very happy with the results, I still need to get the wifi to work but that's only because the router is too faraway from the system.

My old hot water system was leaking due to subside. The original installer came the other day with a fairly high repair & replacement price. Luckily, I quote online that this team offered a quite reasonable quote and the same day installation. They done a great job and explained the system till very detail. We woke up to no hot water. Rang the number on the hot water service and got Matt. How lucky were we! He ordered the new one and was there that afternoon to install. Very tricky installation in a unit. Then I mentioned we had one in the kitchen and on inspection we found that was leaking badly so Matt ordered one for there. He had to cut out part of the kitchen cabinet to get it out. The new kitchen had been built around it. Next day he was back installing that one and fixing the tap for a lady two doors down. No complaints from Matt as to how difficult a job this has been. He is warm and friendly and strong and smart. We could not have got a better person to do this. He is a plumber, electrician and gas fitter! Great service. Thank you Matt.

Matt installed our new heat pump hot water system back in May after the old system blew.The upfront cost was a little more than what we were wanting to pay but BOY did we see a huge difference in our electricity bill!! System is surprisingly quiet and great quality.Matt was really friendly and he was more than happy to answer any questions we had.
